Welcome to the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Postdoctoral Fellowship Application
The Bloomberg School provides opportunities for non-degree postdoctoral training in all departments. If you are interested in becoming a postdoctoral fellow, you should first contact a faculty member who works in your area of interest. You should do this prior to submitting an application.
Application Instructions
- There is no application fee to complete the Postdoctoral fellowship application.
- You must complete the application in one sitting.
- This application works best with the following browsers: Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox. We recommend using the most up-to-date version.
- Prior to submitting an application you must have identified the following:
- Anticipated Start Date of your postdoctoral fellowship
- Name of PI who will sponsor your fellowship
- Department who will sponsor your fellowship
Submitting Proof of Doctoral Degree
In order to complete your application you must submit official documentation that clearly shows that you have completed and been awarded the doctoral degree. The following three options are types of documentation we will accept (you only need to submit one):
- An official transcript sent directly from the degree-granting institution that clearly indicates: (a) conferral of a doctoral degree AND (b) the date of conferral.
- An official letter from the degree-granting institution (Registrar's Office or Central Graduate Office) that (a) confirms completion of all requirements for a doctoral degree and (b) the date of degree conferral. A letter that indicates any outstanding requirements will not be accepted.
- An official copy of a diploma sent directly from the degree-granting institution.
Documentation must be official and sent directly from the doctoral degree granting institution. We cannot accept copies of transcripts, faxed transcripts, transcripts by email, or personal copies that have been opened by the applicant. Please have transcripts or letters sent to the address below:
